Deaerators remove dissolved gases, particularly oxygen, from liquids. Deaerators are used with various products to remove contaminants and deaerate for storage and they are also used to remove oxygen from boiler feedwater to prevent corrosion in the system. Vacuum deaerators disperse the product under vacuum to deaerate. Tray deaerators mix rising steam with water that falls through perforated trays into a heated storage tank. Spray deaerators preheat sprayed water and deaerate the water with steam in the tank.
