Description: Luwa SMS .5 sq meter vertical thin film evaporator. 316 ss construction. Serial # 0050765. National Board # 189. Internal is rated for full vacuum at 650° F. The Jacket is rated at 241 psig @ 482° F for steam and 209 psig @ 650° F for oil. Bottom has a 2" flanged fitting and a 1" threaded fitting for concentrate discharge. The top has a 6" flange for vapor discharge and 1" flanged fittings for infeed. The thin film evaporator's rotor is driven by a 1750 rpm, 5 hp motor. Motor is tagged for Hazardous Locations. Overall height is 92". Requires 230/460 vac 3 phase electrical supply. Built in 1983. Good condition.
